Teachers Mutual Bank tops customer satisfaction rankings

Teachers Mutual Bank has been named the top bank in Australia for the most satisfied main financial institution customers, achieving a customer satisfaction score of 95% in the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Consumer Banking in Australia May 2024 report.

Teachers Mutual Bank Limited CEO, Anthony Hughes, said he was humbled by this recognition and it was also a wonderful acknowledgment for the passionate teams who help and serve customers every day.

“We are incredibly focussed on delivering the best service and outcomes for our customers each and every day. To be presented this recognition again, having also received it in 2022, shows that we’re doing something very right.

“Our customer satisfaction surveys regularly indicate our customers are highly satisfied with our services. What makes this recognition so special is that the customers surveyed identified Teachers Mutual Bank as their main bank and then gave us a customer satisfaction score of 95%. This result underscores how our customers value the helpfulness of our teams, the quality of our products, and the trust they have with our bank.

“Teachers Mutual Bank is a proud customer-owned bank and our 95% customer satisfaction score shows the community that it is possible for great banking and great service to go hand-in-hand,” concluded Anthony.

Definitions:
Main financial institution is defined as the bank the respondent nominated as their main financial institution. A respondent in the Roy Morgan survey can only nominate one institution, independent of what products are held at the institution.

Main financial institution satisfaction refers to the proportion of each financial institutions MFI customers (defined as those holding at least a deposit/transaction account) that are either ‘very satisfied’ or ‘fairly satisfied’ with their overall relationship with that financial institution.
