TMBL welcomes new Chief Legal Officer

Teachers Mutual Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Jenny O’Neill as our Chief Legal Officer, effective, 18 November 2024.

Jenny brings more than two decades of experience as a legal executive, with proven experience in driving customer and commercial success in financial services. 

Teachers Mutual Bank Limited’s CEO, Anthony Hughes, said he was pleased to have Jenny join the team and bring her knowledge and energy to the customer owned bank.

“Jenny is passionate about customers, purpose and people. Her previous executive experience will be valuable to us, especially during this period of transformation within our bank.” 

On her appointment, Jenny said she was energised to be joining the bank at such a pivotal time and where Teachers Mutual Bank Limited’s purpose of banking for good, for those who do good has, “arguably never been more important as we aim to support our customers through the current economic environment.”

Most recently Jenny was at Hollard Insurance, where she held a series of senior leadership and executive roles including as General Counsel, Chief People and Legal Officer, and Chief Legal and Governance Officer.

Jenny holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications), Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW.
