All of our deposit and mortgage products sold are certified as responsible Investment  products  by the Responsible Investment Association Australia (RIAA).

Offering responsible investment products

Every deposit account opened by and every mortgage sold by a Teachers Mutual Bank Limited brand is a Certified Responsible Investment.

  • All our debt issuance, wholesale short term deposits and mortgage and deposit products we sell are independently certified as a Responsible Investment Product by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). All of our deposit and mortgage products sold are certified as responsible Investment products by the Responsible Investment Association Australia (RIAA). 

    Wholesale investors in our bank are guaranteed their investments are Certified Responsible Investments. This certification covers holders of wholesale term debt issued under our debt issuance program, and new investments in our wholesale short-term deposits, including cash, negotiable certificates of deposit and term deposits.

    RIAA’s Certification Symbol is recognised by investors and consumers across the region, providing confidence that a product or provider is delivering on its responsible investment promise and meeting the Australian and New Zealand Standard for responsible investing.

    Our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies and exclusions underpin our Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) Responsible Investment Product Certification. This provides independent, third-party verification, and is the leading initiative for distinguishing quality responsible, ethical and impact investment products and services in Australia and New Zealand. All home loan and deposit products provided by our bank are RIAA certified, at no additional cost to our customers1.
